This is a Domestic African American Material Culture, open invite & memorial, that serves as a vacant chair for absence, or awaited guest, in reverence in the household, celebrating and honoring the Souls lost during past and present times of discourse, and during the 2020/22 pandemic, acts of violence, suicide, accidents, natural & unnatural causes of death. This series is inspired by the Humble yet stylish homemaking skills of the rural and urban African American Homemaker/Caregiver.
